contract at Frederiksborg with Frederik II on 18 May 1578 (150 rix dollars yearly and a house and fuel; he will not have to pay taxes or fullfill civil duties; on 9 August 1579 a new contract (200 rix dollars yearly, board and lodging for himself and 4 assistants; on 13 November 1580 another contract (100 rix dollars and a house, as well as payment for individual commissions (Jensen 1994); also regaularly recorded in Antwerp in these years (Van Heeldonck 2005).
