Qualifications remark: Bottenheim was librarian at the art historical library of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam between 1916 and 1961. In 1921 she also became assistant at the prints cabinet of the Rijksmuseum. She was also secretary of the KOG (Koninklijk Oudheidkundig Genootschap).
