On 23 October 1570, Nicolaes van der Schriecke Janszoon, painter and born in Antwerp, but now living in Leipzig, authorized his uncle Aert van den Eynde to sell the goods bequeathed to him by his grandfather Rombout van den Eynde and his mother Anna van den Eynde (van Hemeldonck 2007). According to von Wurzbach 1910 he fled with his wife and son Johan to Germany from the Duke of Alva.
