November 1536 saw him at the court of his great uncle, king Sigismund I of Poland to cash in a due bill: he managed to collect the principal of 32,000 guilders but not the interest coming to 200,000 guilders. During his trip to Poland, Ottheinrich had fifty watercolor views of the cities he visited made, most of which are the earliest representations that have survived today (Marsch et al. 2001 and 2005).
